Sneezeman is a platformer game that is, bizarrely enough, sponsored by Kleenex. Imagine a much more rushed and stressful version of the old Super Mario Bros formula; in essence, all that you have to do is jump on platforms, collect pills and stars, deal with the bad guys by either avoiding them or jumping on them, and then make it to the exit of the stage. It’s simple but it can get tough, so read on for some tips and tricks.
You can get anywhere between zero stars and three stars for a level, and the more stars you get, the more levels that you end up being able to unlock. Your star score has nothing to do whatsoever with the amount of points that you collect in a stage, though. It only has to do with how many actual stars that you collect in each stage. Collect three stars, and you get three stars. Collect zero stars, and you earn zero stars.
To find all of the stars, and all of the checkpoints, and to find the best bonuses such as the 1ups, stick to the highest point in the stage that you can reach. This means jump on all of the platforms instead of running along the bottom.
If you really want to maximize points, jump on all of the bad guys (or collect the invincibility power up and run right through them) rather than just avoiding them. Also, if you need to earn as many extra lives as possible, go to a stage where you know the locations of the 1-up power ups, and play it over and over so that you can earn multiple 1ups. This is a good way to beat a tough stage.
You can’t jump on the spores, though, so when you are riding in the car, time your jumps exactly perfect so that you don’t get killed by them. Most of the time, though, you will not even need to jump.
