Guide to Urban Rivals for iOS: Tips, tricks, hints, cheats and strategies

Urban Rivals is a new type of card battle game for the iOS, much different than Rage of Bahamut and its many clones that are out there today. In this one, you get matched up against another player based upon how close your skill levels are. You have 8 cards, and in each battle, 4 of your cards will be played. You can earn Clintz as a currency, and your Pillz will determine what you can do as far as attacks. Read on for some tips and tricks!

Make sure that you split your Pillz up evenly between characters when you are battling. If you multiply your character’s attack power by the amount of Pillz that you are using, you get the total amount of damage you can do, so you can use less Pillz for your stronger characters, so that you can use more Pillz for your weaker characters and still win the battle.

For that reason, use your extra experience points to level up your characters in a more even manner. Don’t just level up one or two characters – level up as many of them as you can so that in each battle, you still have a good shot of getting a strong character, even though the character selection is fairly randomized.

Also, when you are playing against another live person (which is every single battle that you play except for the tutorial battles), you need to be sure to attack quickly enough. If you wait too long and you don’t pick your character quickly enough, then you’ll be automatically forfeited from the battle.

The player’s market doesn’t work right now, but once the developer updates the game and gets the player’s market working again, it will become a great place to sell your characters to earn more currency. It doesn’t even matter if you get rid of your strongest characters anyways, because the battles are automatically matched up to be as even as possible, so if you go into a battle with weaker characters, you will get matched up against an opponent with weaker characters.
