Guncrafter for iOS: How to increase your rank and how to get better guns

Guncrafter is a shooting-gallery games that should be fun for both gun nuts and for Minecraft nuts. You get to build your own gun out of Minecraft-style blocks, and then use it to shoot up various Minecraft-style structures and landscapes as quickly as possible before time runs out. You start off with mediocre guns but you can build much better guns as the game goes on. Likewise, you start off with mediocre stages but as you increase your rank, you get to unlock better stages. Read on to find out how to do both of these in Guncrafter!

Increase your rank by playing the standard mode against real life opponents, or in the practice mode. Either way, if you win, you will increase your experience points more than if you lose. The PvP mode, however, earns you more experience per round. Rank up enough times and you will unlock new stages.

You will gain the same amount of experience points whether you play an easy stage or a hard stage when you are in the PvP mode, so play the easiest stages that you can in order to rank up faster. Players with less skill and lesser guns tend to play the early stages, so play them for some easy wins. You need to improve your guns in order to be able to get easy wins in later stages.

So how do you improve your guns, you might ask? First, rack up coins so that you can buy an upgrade. You can open up the second gun slot if you want, but to save coins, simply delete the first gun that you build once you get to 50 or 150 coins. Then, start building another gun, but upgrade your materials. Steel is the recommended upgrade, while plastic is also a good upgrade (but useless since steel is so affordable).

Buy the bigger grid as well, because the bigger grids allow you to carry more ammo at a time. The amount of ammo that you can carry corresponds to the size of the grid that you have.

Finally, experiment with the construction of your gun. Experiment with such things as changing the position of the pistol grip and the trigger, and adding a simulated magazine. Add more weight to the barrel, too, to offset the kickback that you get from the gun when you fire it. Try different things to figure out what works best for you.
