Gunman Taco Truck – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats, and Strategies

Gunman Taco Truck is a new roguelike game designed by John and Brenda Romero’s 10-year-old son Donovan Romero-Brathwaite for the iOS platform and Steam. You play as the last Mexican in the United States, and your goal is to save the world, one taco at a time, by killing mutants and using their meat and other ingredients to cook tacos and sell them to the survivors of the zombie apocalypse. Read on for some tips and tricks for Gunman Taco Truck!

There are a few options that you can use to make the game a little bit easier, or just to customize it. Go to the options menu at any time and make all weapons automatic, and you won’t have to tap every single time you want to shoot. Your weapons will become automatic, so all you have to do is hold down on the screen to fire. Enable Piñata mode and streamers and stuffed animals will fall out of anything that you kill.

Your goal is to go to Winnipeg, Canada, because that’s the safe spot, but just because somewhere is out of the way doesn’t mean it’s not worth going to. Go back and forth between certain locations when there is a benefit to doing so – for example, Fresno, Las Vegas and Phoenix in order to build up cash, food, and scraps. Make frequent use of the shops in order to refill on all of the necessary ingredients.

Shoot everything that you possibly can. The more that you kill, the higher your kill streak will be and the more meat and scraps you get. Shoot the signs for extra scraps. Shoot the cows and other animals on the side of the road to get the non-mutant meats, so that you can cook things such as carne asada tacos.

The use of scrap is a bit more obscure at first, until you go to the right cities where you can use it to purchase new trucks with different weapons or that hold more gas. Las Vegas, for example. is one place where you can do this. You can also use scrap to repair your truck, which is extremely important if you are about to face off against a boss (bosses typically appear on 3-gas runs).

Memorize the recipes before you move onto an area with new recipes. If you memorize a recipe you can make it faster, and the faster you make them, the better your performance will be; also, you will get tipped by customers, which provides you with free extra cash and allows you to survive for longer.
