Happy Tree Friends: Deadeye Derby – Cheats and Tips: The Strategy Guide

Happy Tree Friends: Deadeye Derby stars your favorite characters everyone’s beloved ultraviolent cartoon from Camp Pokeneyeout, a setting in one particular episode of the show. Every camper’s goal here is to aim and fire slingshots at each other, with the goal of shooting out each other’s eyes and knocking each other off their cars. In this game it’s (almost) entirely a PvP affair. Read on for some tips and tricks for Happy Tree Friends: Deadeye Derby!

-The controls are based around aiming using tilting your iPhone. Sometimes, the aim will need readjusting. Do this by jerking your phone to one side until there’s no more screen space left to take, and the aim will readjust once it hits a wall. Adjust it as much as you need.
-A good strategy in the PvP battles is to fire several quick shots (don’t even wait for the slingshot to charge right away) followed by rearing back and aiming for one good shot. The quick shots will distract your opponent by filling their screen with shaking and blood, so that you have more time to set up good attacks.

-With bosses, you can’t do this, so it’s better simply to rear back and let the slingshot charge all the way every time.
-Aim at, and hit, your opponent’s eye for maximum damage.
-Even after you knock out your opponent’s eye, you can still aim at their empty eye socket and fire for the same maximum damage.

-Pay attention to the chests that float by, as these are your single best way of earning coins, especially the rare chests.
-If you’re playing with a Facebook friend, play a game against each other, without either of you firing a shot. The goal is for both of you to just sit back and collect chests for as long as you can. Then fire on each other at an agreed time.

-Buy the upgrades to defense, stability and evasion before you purchase the new slingshot upgrades. The best offense is a good defense and in the case of this game, a good defense is far cheaper.
-Every stage has its own set of quests. If you lose your streak on one stage, you will still have your old streak (if you already had one going) on another stage.

-When fighting against a boss, usually they will have other implements to defend them, like Russell with his drones. Take out all of the other implements before you start firing on the boss. Then fire as quickly as you can before the implements come back.
