Happy Wheels (iOS/Android) – How to get every character in the game

Happy Wheels is the new mobile adaptation of the immensely popular browser game. This game has you playing as Business Guy (or Segway Guy from the browser game) and going through all sorts of insane levels trying not to get impaled, shot or blown up, but there are a ton of other characters from the series, as well. The series includes Irresponsible Dad, Wheelchair Guy, Effective Shopper, Moped Couple, Pogo Stick Guy, and possibly more eventually. Read on for some tips on how to get the rest of the characters in Happy Wheels mobile!

If you want to play as all of the characters immediately, then do the following. First, go to the level editor area, and make a level. You can also play the example level if you want to by tapping the pause button in the level maker area and then then hitting “load stage”. An example level will pop up, but it will require a little bit of editing to actually be playable.

Or, of course, if you have friends who play the game, then have them send you a level. Or wait for the update to the game; the update should definitely bring about the ability to post levels publically. Either way, that’s beside the point. Choose “load level” and then load one of the levels, and you will have the ability to choose from Irresponsible Dad, Wheelchair Guy, Effective Shopper or Moped Couple, in addition to the default Business Guy.

Currently, there is one level where you can use all of the characters, but you have to beat all of the levels with Business Guy first before you can play it. After you do, scroll all of the way to the right and you will see a “Select Your Character” area when you go past all of the other characters’ spots. In the future there will be more of these unlockable bonus levels added to the game (hence the dummy spaces next to the one level).

Right now, other than that one level, there is no way to unlock the characters outside of the level editor, but once the first update comes around, they are scheduled to add Irresponsible Dad and Wheelchair Guy to the game. Later on sometime after that, they are going to add Moped Couple, Effective Shopper and Pogo Stick Guy. Plus, if you scroll all the way to the right in the character select scree, there is a currently-empty “choose your character” level.

As for playing as the Pogo Stick Guy in the custom levels, right now that ability has not yet been added to the game, but we will update this article when it has been. If you want to preview the characters and their abilities outside of the custom levels, then you can also try them in the browser version of Happy Wheels, as they are all in the game there.
