20) When fighting battles, make effective use of your special attacks.
Battles are fought automatically, but when each character’s portrait is glowing and their yellow bar is charged, that means their special attack is ready to use. Use them one at a time, or all at once depending on your taste. Try to refrain from using them if enemy fighters are already close to death, though.
19) When fighting old battles, set the game to “auto battle” mode.
This lets you go right through the battle without having to press anything. Both normal attacks and special attacks will activate independently, and each round of battle will pass automatically. This is also true for certain unlockable modes, such as the trials.
18) When fighting in the arena, pick the opponent with the balance of high rank and low power.
Rank counts backwards, from zero to the highest number available. When you defeat someone in the arena, you take over their old rank and earn rewards associated with your new rank. Pick someone with a power level lower than yours (generally), but with a rank high enough to earn you a significant jump rather than just jumping up by one or two ranks.
17) Always check the chests and open them as often as possible (for free).
Whenever you see a red dot next to the Chests area (or next to anything, really), that means there is something there for you to collect. Collect from these as often as possible in order to earn loads of rewards, both common and rare. Even new heroes, too.
16) Promote your heroes to power them up almost infinitely.
Once your hero has all six of their equipment slots filled, then you will be able to promote them, which causes their equipment to disappear, yet causes all of their statistics to boost. Promotion level will be denoted by what color their character portrait is surrounded with, and/or a “+1” next to your hero’s name.
