Heroes of Dragon Age – How to win battles and complete and master tough quests

Heroes of Dragon Age starts off easy, but then it gets tough, and from there it only gets worse. You’ll face countless groups of enemies in battle, each of which is (usually) tougher than the last, and the players that you fight in battle mode get more and more difficult as you earn more trophies. It’s easy to get stuck but there are countless methods to power up your troops and emerge victorious. Read on for tips on how to do just that!

The most important step to having a powerful team is increasing the average rarity of your heroes. You can do all of the upgrades that you want, but with a party loaded with common heroes you’re going to get absolutely nowhere. Save up your gold and gems and purchase card packs to get new heroes – the more expensive the card pack, the better the hero. Warrior packs are uncommon at minimum, Champion packs are rare at minimum, and Ultimate packs are epic at minimum.

One of the most pivotal members of your team is the Large Creature, yet it’s also the toughest to get a specific rarity for because there are so few of them. When you start consuming cards (sacrificing cards to power up a card), power up the Large Creature for the best effect. Powering up your rarest cards is also generally recomended because they are the ones least likely to be replaced.

Use the Combine upgrade to tier up your cards. You can combine one card up to four times, and by the time you get to the top combination level, it will be more powerful than even cards of higher rarity will. This is especially effective for, again, Large Creatures.

Change the way that your team is organized for maximum effect. The two heroes in front get a health boost while the two heroes in back have better chances for a critical hit. Put five cards of the same faction together (faction being the color that appears underneath them) and you will get a faction bonus stat boost. Cards who are multiple factions will have multiple colors below them, allowing you to mix them in for faction bonuses for either one of those colors.

Finally, level your cards up with experience points earned through winning battles. And use your runes wisely, to alter not only your targeting of enemies, but your statistics, and your earnings of gold.
