Right from the beginning, there is a ton to do in this game, and even after you complete the tutorial, it can still seem a bit confusing. First do the main tasks (which are in either red or green font in the lower left corner of the screen), then do the Tasks and the Achievements list on the main menu screen. Alternatively, if you know what you’re doing or you get the hang of it decently enough, go do everything that you can and then come back and claim the Task and Achievement awards later.

The green/red font area (the main tasks) are also how you earn more employees. Complete main tasks to get more employees. Once you have an employee, head to the Employee sub-menu and you can level them up using your earned experience. You can increase 1 or 10 levels at a time. Even though you want to level up fast, do one level at a time; the “boost” feature often occurs with one level, which gives you bonus experience levels without having to spend extra exp. Level your employees up by one level at a time so that you can trigger this bonus and max out on experience.

Your employee stats are comms, tech, admin, sales, and production, each of which not only directly relates to your overall company strength and how well you do in negotiations, but how much you’ll produce in the asset management screen. Admin stats correlate with how much production you earn. Production stats correlate with how many goods you earn, while tech and sales relate to how much cash you earn. Earn more employees and level them up to increase these numbers.

Sports cars can be earned randomly throughout the game, whether purchased or for completing quests (or purchased using gems). Equipping one will increase your stats, and adding employees to them will further increase their stats too. Use steel to level up your car, and use parts to upgrade it to a new rarity tier. Parts (engine, turbine, tires) can be earned by scrapping other sports cars, so when you get a new car, scrap the old one to get upgrade parts.

Capital is an asset that is earned both by decision-making and by completing negotiations, although far more of it is earned by winning the negotiations (five per battle). The more capital you get, the higher you can increase your CEO title. Complete negotiations quickly to speed up your capital acquisition so that you can rank up from Upcoming CEO to Competent CEO, and start filling the various mansions in the Hall of Fame.
