No amount of new equipment and batters will provide a suitable substitute for timing and aiming your hit properly. The cursor looks like a circle with the barrel of a bat silhouette inside. Hit the ball with the barrel of the bat, not with the outer circle, in order to ensure that it flies out of the park. You can time it earlier or later in order to control whether you hit the ball to left field, center field, or right field.
For even more advanced aiming, you can also try to aim your home runs at various landmarks beyond the outfield fans, such as the scoreboard, targets, statues, signs, and more. If you hit these objects, you will earn extra points, and those extra points are advantageous against more advanced players.
If you hit home runs to left, center, and right field, then you will get a cycling home run, which is worth more points, and a cold shot, which illuminates one of the three fields. If you successfully hit the called shot, then you will Score a large amount of points.
There are two ways to win each round. Once the timer expires, if your bar is filling more of the top of the screen than the bar of your opponent, then you win. if you score enough points that your bar takes over entirely, then you score a KO, which gives you the victory.
As you play more games, and especially as you win more games, you will unlock more card packs. These can give you more equipment, shards of characters, skill points, attribute points for your equipment, gold coins, and more. Use these to increase the levels of your equipment and characters in order to give yourself a stronger advantage.
Try to make sure that all of your equipment is the highest rarity possible. A is better than B, and S is better than both. Their base statistics will be higher, so make sure that you upgrade them wisely.
As you get further into the game, you will unlock more and more characters. They will sometimes come randomly from card packs, or they can often come when you unlock new stadiums.

You can use the real life legends when you purchase them using real life money, but there are ways to use them for free as well. In the challenge mode, you can play various tournaments for as many points as possible using the real legends. Be sure to also participate in special events and open the rarest card packs that you can for a better chance at receiving them.
