Homerun Clash: Walkthrough, Cheats, Tips, and Strategy Guide

Homerun Clash is a player vs. player home run derby game that has been around for over a year, but just recently got a huge update for its second season, and has since become one of the most popular sports games on the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to do a live, simultaneous home run derby against other players, with both of you playing at the same time so that there is no delay.

You can earn trophies, play in multiple modes such as the 1 vs 1, the Battle Royale, and various event modes. You can unlock all sorts of new characters, upgrade your equipment, earn gold coins and gems, and a whole lot more, as well.

Read on for some tips and tricks for Homerun Clash!

Your goal is to hit as many home runs as possible, so first, get the timing of the pitches down; after that, then modify when you swing in order to hit homers to left field, center field, or right field. Swing late to hit to right field if you’re a righty or left field if you’re a lefty. Swing early to hit to left field if you’re a righty or right field if you’re a lefty. Swing on time no matter what to hit the ball to center field.

The score is based on who scores more points. Hit longer homers to score more points, and fill the bar entirely with your points to win instantly. If nobody wins outright, then whoever has the longest bar at the end of the match will be the winner.

The batting cursor has a habit of being a bit sticky at the beginning, so before the batter throws, start moving your finger around in order to make the cursor move.

You have a few different ways of getting large bonuses. One is to hit home runs for the cycle, or to complete the LCR gauge. LCR stands for Left, Center, Right, so fill all of them up and you’ll get loads of bonus points.

Another is to call your shot. Fill up the shot calling gauge, then hit a home run in the direction that you point your bat. You’ll earn a massive amount of extra bonus points by doing this; 500 or more in one shot, which should keep the gauge nice and full and/or swing it over to your direction in one shot.

You’ll earn either boxes for winning, and you’ll also earn gold each time you win a PvP match, outside of the boxes. Each box can be opened with time, or can be gem’d out so that you can open it instantly, but tap on a box and you’ll be able to watch an ad video to decrease the opening time by 30 minutes. If you’re waiting on the box, you won’t have to wait as long, and if you are going to gem it out, then you’ll spend less gems after the video.

Be sure to earn the free rewards as often as you can. Go to the coin section of the store and tap on the Free Gold button on the far left side to earn more gold coins instantly. This is especially useful when you have a lot of equipment and character cards waiting for you, but you don’t have a lot of gold to do the upgrades with.

Play the Battle Royale mode at least once a day, even if you tend to like 1v1 better, because in Battle Royale mode, every pitch curves in some way. Curveballs can be very tough to get used to when you’re only hitting against them in 1v1 mode, because one out of every fifteen or so pitches is a curve, but after you see a lot of curveballs, they all of a sudden don’t seem like a big deal anymore.
