Hordes of Enemies: Top Tips, Walkthrough, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Hordes of Enemies is a new 8-bit arcade-style brawler for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal in this game is to make it as far through the ever-toughening hordes in three different movie scenarios – first, a feudal-era Japan stage, then a zombie apocalypse level, followed by a secret agent stage. You can unlock new levels, compete against other players for the top score, and test your skills against the old Nintendo-hard arcade levels. Read on for some tips and tricks for Hordes of Enemies!

The controls in this game are extremely simple to learn, but tough to master. Tap on the left side of the screen to hit to the left, and tap on the right side of the screen to hit to the right. Tap in the middle of the screen to use your special attack, which will kill off enemies on both sides of the screen for about seven seconds in a row.

The better your accuracy is with your hits, the quicker you’ll be able to strike. If you miss, you have about a one-second period before you’re able to attack again, which will leave you open to getting hit by the next enemy in line on either side. If you hit, though, you can instantly hit again, so even when you’re in the ninth or tenth wave, with massive amounts of enemies coming at you, you can still survive, even without a special attack.

You have three special attacks, and when you use one, it takes awhile to cool down before you can use another one. You can use ad video options to get two boosts with your special attacks. At the beginning of a round, take the offer and watch the ad and you’ll reduce the cool down time between special attacks. Tap the “tip box” on the main menu screen and you’ll get an extra special attack during the next round, for a total of four special attacks instead of three.

Once you have 500 total points in the game, you’ll unlock the Zombie Apocalypse level. Once you have 1,000 total points in the game, you’ll be able to play on the Chosen One level. The controls are the same in both of these levels. The total points can be earned over an unlimited amount of rounds in the game, and in the case of the Secret Agent level, the points are worth the same whether you earn them in The Last Samurai or the Zombie Apocalypse.

The gameplay methods are the same in both of these levels; the main differences are the movements of the enemies and in your special attack. In different levels, enemies move different – zombies, for example, move much slower in the Zombie Apocalypse level than the ninjas do in The Last Samurai, making them easier to hit and make combos with. The special attack in the Zombie level is shooting in both directions with a high-powered rifle, which is a ranged attack that can hit all zombies in a line, whereas the special attack in the Last Samurai is swinging your sword in a circle, which is faster but has a shorter range.
