From the main map screen, it’s pretty easy to find all of the battles that you need to go to. The normal battles will have an icon of the phone, the building with the Ghostbusters icon will be the headquarters, and the building with the big purple swirl is, of course, the tower. You need slime in order to fight the next boss battle in the tower, so go to the main battles to build up your slime.
There are three difficulty levels for your normal battles: easy battles, medium battles, and hard battles. You’ll fight one ghost at a time, and 3-5 ghosts total in easy battles, medium battles will have you fighting 3-4 ghosts at a time, and around 9 total ghosts, while hard battles will completely swamp you with ghosts. Each battle costs 20 energy to engage in, and winning one battle will earn you one “bust” for each surviving character – no matter if it’s an easy, medium or hard battle.
Other rewards differ, though. The harder the battle, the more slime that you earn. Harder battles will also earn you more bucks (600 for easy, 900 for medium, 1,500 for hard), more ghosts, and more slime. Earning more ghosts, obviously, is done by catching each ghost that you kill. Once you drain a ghost’s hit points, a circle will appear around it, and you have to tap it to catch it before the red meter runs out. If it runs out the ghost gets a small amount of life energy back, and when you drain it you get another chance to catch it.
Take the ghosts that you catch back to the HQ. On the bottom floor of the HQ you can collect a daily reward from Slimer, which consists of slime. On the main floor you can manage your team members and buy more of them – which, of course, can be done by spending power cores on them. Power cores are the premium currency of the game and the only real way to get more is to buy more power cores.
