Hyperball is a new game by Voodoo where the goal is to kick a giant soccer ball into the goal using a car, while avoiding getting the ball stuck or sending it into your own goal. Your objective is to finish the game with as many goals for yourself and as few goals against you as possible, and in multiplayer mode, your goal is to defeat other players as well. Read on for some tips, cheats, hints, strategies, and tricks for Hyperball!
You can either hold your finger down on the screen to move slowly or you can release your finger off of the screen to dash. While dashing is good, use it sparingly so that you don’t send the ball flying around the arena or cascading into your own goal. Once you get multiplayer play, use the dash more often, but aim it. Sending it flying randomly around will put you at just as much of a disadvantage as it will the other player.
Want to change the color of both yourself and of the goal? In this game, you can do both of those for free. All that you have to do is tap on the button that looks like a ref jersey over and over until you find the color combo that you like. Each time you do, some new combination of uniform colors and goal color, as well as field physics, will show up.
You can play most of the game without using an internet connection, for the most part, but if you beat a level, then the game will stop, and when you restart the game, it will be back at the level you last played, rather than the next one. So make sure you have a good internet connection before you try to move forward to the next level.
Currently, there are five new cars that you can unlock; however, they can neither be unlocked by completing actions or spending any in-game currently. You need the premium VIP membership in order to get them. The two price offers are either 3 days free, then $7.99 per week, or $19.99 per month. You can cancel the three-day free trial at anytime through the iTunes subscription area if you decide you want to ditch the premium membership.
Oddly enough, there is no option to turn off the music and sound effects, so if you want to make the game totally silent, you have no choice but to silence your phone. You can also turn off the vibrations by hitting the phone icon to the left of the player button.
