Whenever the roller coaster pulls into the station, you get money for every car of the roller coaster that has a customer in it. Use the three main upgrades to earn a ton of money in this game. The first upgrade increases ticket prices.

The second upgrade increases the speed of your coaster so that each time you pull through the station, you do it faster. The third upgrade increases the number of cars on your coaster so that you can haul more customers at a time.

Also, notice that after every five or so car upgrades, the track will change shape, adding various loops and turns and other goodies, and growing in length overall. This is so that it can accommodate increasing numbers of coaster cars.

When this happens, the speed will appear to decrease because the cars will pull through the station was frequently, but the speed actually is staying the same, just with more track for the cars to cross.

Simply increase the speed to deal with it. With more cars and more customers, the money will roll in easier, making it so that you can afford more speed upgrades. And of course, that makes for more money overall.

Want to really speed it up, though? Tap on the track to send your roller coaster car off to the races at a high speed. Tap over and over, but don’t tap rapidly as each single tap gives you about one second’s worth of a speed boost. Just tap consistently.

Video Ad Bonuses in Idle Roller Coaster

Make sure that you have an internet connection to take advantage of all of the possible ad bonuses. There are a ton of things you can get a bonus on. All of them require you to watch an ad video, which is why you need the data connection. Even a bad to mediocre connection is better than no connection.

First of all, you earn offline income when you come back to the game after a period of time spent offline. You can watch an ad video to instantly triple the offline income, which is especially worth doing when you open the game back up after a long time of being offline.

When you level up, you’ll earn a bonus as soon as you tap the level button. The higher the level, the higher the bonus. Don’t bother if you have gone a super long time without leveling up, but wait a few levels until you get caught up to start watching ad videos if this is the case.

If your levels are caught up and the level-up bonuses are actually worthwhile to you, then watch the ad video. Half the time an ad will play anyways, so you might as well triple your income while you’re at it.

Whenever you see a bag of popcorn flying around over the stage, tap that too, and you’ll earn a bunch of money when you finish with the video. The video will auto play and you can’t close it out early, but you don’t necessarily want to close it out early, either, or you won’t earn the bonus.

The popcorn bag tends to be worth more bonus money than anything else in the game. The reason for this is that the bonus value increases every time you upgrade an aspect of your roller coaster.

Other Buildings:

Tap on the ribbon icon in the top right corner of the screen in order to build side buildings that automatically boost your income. These include things like the balloon queue, ice cream tickets, fast food tickets, and more, which add a percentage to your income.

Once you build them, go back to the menu later on and you’ll be able to upgrade them as long as you have the money for it. The percentage bonus increase will appear alongside their names (I.E. 10%, 20%, 30% etc.)

New Countries:

Tap on the castle icon to build theme parks in other countries when you have enough money to do so. Once you build a new one, you’ll still be able to go back to the old one and play in it whenever you want to.

The only negative thing here is that money is not transferable between one country and the other. Each country has their own form of money, denoted by the letter on the coin icon at the money counter at the top of the screen.

The graphics will also change depending on what country you’re in. The colors of the coaster and of the grass will change. So will the colors of the bonus buildings once you unlock them in your new country.

When you’re active in one country, the inactive countries will pick up offline income, too. So go back and forth often between your countries often in order to maximize your income in all of them.
