Idle Skies: Walkthrough, Tips, Cheats, Hacks, and Strategy Guide

Idle Skies is a new idle game for the iOS and Android paltforms featuring historical airplanes and flying devices all the way from ancient China to the Wright Brothers, all the way to today. You can unlock new planes and watch them fly around as you earn money, then use that money to upgrade your existing planes and unlock new planes for even more money. Read on for some tips and tricks for Idle Skies!

The game is about as idle as you can get; once you unlock a plane, it earns money on its own, so that all you have to do is sit and watch it earn money, and upgrade it as needed. Planes will take awhile to make money, but if you shut the game off, they’ll earn money immediately, so if you want quick cash, close the game entirely, then open it back up a few minutes (or hours) later and collect your earnings.

If you have a strong connection, open up the game and you’ll get an offer to double your offline earnings for watching an ad video. Watch the video and you can double them; watch a second video for 4x the earnings; watch the third video offer in a row for 8x the earnings. The stronger your connection, the more likely it will be that you’ll get all three of those offers in a row.

Once you make it to a new era, you won’t be able to upgrade your old eras anymore. That’s ok, though; the new eras will make far, far more money for you than the old eras would have, effectively rendering the old eras useless. Start upgrading planes from your new era and enjoying the earnings.

Make sure to take a spin whenever you can in order to earn anywhere between 2x and 4x the income for four hours at a time. All that’s required is an ad video. You can also watch an ad video in order to earn 10x the income for sixty seconds, but overall, as far as income goes, that’s far less than a four-hour multiplier is, no matter whether it’s 2x or 4x.

At any point in time, you can start over by claiming your engineers using the button in the middle of the menu. For each engineer, you earn a 5% bonus. Also, go to the menu on the right side of the screen and hit it to get some more bonuses, such as shiny gems for videos, or a half-hour clock acceleration in exchange for an ad video.
