Iron Blade: Medieval Legends – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats, and Strategies

Iron Blade: Medieval Legends is a new super-graphical action RPG by Gameloft for the iOS and Android platform. You play as Damien of the Knights Templar, and your goal is to make it to the revived Baal and defeat him, as well as to battle against the knights who mistakenly think you’re the villain. You can unlock and upgrade gold, rubies and chest keys, play in limited-time events, and more. Read on for some tips and tricks for Iron Blade: Medieval Legends!

Rubies are the premium currency of the game, and can be used for such diverse purposes as chests, more energy, and fusion packs. Rubies generally cost money, but a good way to get them for free is to go to the rubies store and wait for the Free Rubies button to show up. Tap it and you’ll be able to collect some free rubies by watching a video. You can watch as many of them as you want as long as you have an internet connection, and each video will be worth rewards.

Each of your pieces of equipment will have a trait or an element assigned to it. The elements are Divine, Demonic and Heroic, or Blue, Red, and Yellow. Divine beats Demonic, Demonic beats Heroic, and Heroic beats Define. If you know what the elements of your enemies are in the next battle, set your equipment accordingly for a big advantage.

Your character moves automatically; all that you do is attack and parry. To do a perfect parry, watch the lightning bolt above the enemy. When it turns yellow, parry and you’ll execute the perfect parry, which ends with an automatic attack. If it’s not yellow, you’ll parry but you’ll be stopped for a second.

Log in as often as possible to claim free chests and other goodies even when you aren’t planning to do much playing that day. You can get a free regular chest every six hours. The others cost rubies, so save your hard-earned rubies for some premium chests to unlock rare equipment that will last you for quite awhile in battle before you have to upgrade again.

Wanna level up your equipment without having to use up any of your other equipment, because you ran out of upgrade fodder? Go back to previous levels that you have already beaten and can beat easily, and mash through them, or simply raid them if you have raid tickets for quick experience gains and item hunting.
