Jewel Fight: Heroes of Legend is a new puzzle RPG for the iOS and Android platform. It’s light on story, and it’s light on characters. It takes the puzzle RPG genre pioneered by games such as Puzzle and Dragons and boils it right down to its essence for a match three game that is relatively simple yet addicting. Read on for some tips and tricks for Jewel Fight: Heroes of Legend!
Before you begin a match, pay attention to the popup that shows elemental signals under your name and the rival’s name. The block of elements on the left represents what shapes are strong when you match them, and the block of elements on the right show what shapes are strong from where the rebels stand. Any color smack in the middle of the popup is neutral, meaning that it has no strong or weak effect on anybody.
The top way to improve your fortunes is to purchase new weapons and equipment. If you don’t have enough coins for them, then you can go back to old stages that you have already beaten and play them again (and again and again etc) until you have enough coins to buy what you need. In general it’s best to save up lots of coins and buy all new equipment, rather than to upgrade the equipment over and over again, because the stat boosts are so insanely huge.
Keep a good solid lookout for your health when you’re facing a strong enemy. Try to match as many health combos as possible, but remember that it’s best to go in with a lot of potions. It’s good to have poison antidotes, as well. If you get poisoned and you don’t have an antidote you had better fight at high speed or die faster.
Speaking of poison, poison the enemy and then just sit there and wait. Their hit points will tick down and down and down until either the poison wears off or they die, thus allowing you to have a finished battle with no extra moves needed to be used.
Your character has a skill as well, and as you earn more jewels, you can use them to purchase new skills to put in place of the old ones for even stronger attacks and better strategic uses. Skills activate once the skill bar fills up completely.
