King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon is a new shooter RPG for the iOS and Android platforms, and is a sequel that comes 31 years after the original King’s Knight was originally released for the NES. This game revives one of that game’s original heroes and ties it into the Final Fantasy XV universe. You get a whole slew of characters to use in the game, and you can upgrade them and their equipment, and earn Zell, Regalite, and other goodies to improve and advance your game. Read on for some tips and tricks for King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon!
Lost among all of the upgrades and features is the fact that the main game itself can often be very difficult, even with the auto-shoot mode enabled. You’ll need to make use of rapid movement to evade shots from bosses and regular enemies alike. Swipe to jump in order to not only jump over enemy shots, but to jump on top of platforms for mobility and battle advantages.
Shoot at every surface that you can possibly destroy during a match. Trees are a good example, as are pieces of a plateau or almost anything that is not a monolith. You’ll get battle-length attack and defense boosts, health boosts, and even zell that pop out from inside of these objects at random.
Use your regalite wisely. Use 250 of it at a time to purchase 11 characters, as one of these charters will be free (25 regalite purchases 1 character). Do this until you can fill your whole party with 3+ star characters, then use your future regalite on equipment until you have enough to boost all of your active party members.
You can power up your characters in many different ways. Training them is the most basic way; this increases their experience level in exchange for the various books and other training items acquired throughout the game. New abilities can be unlocked at specific levels. Three-star plus characters can unlock their final skills by completing character-specific quests. And unleashing a character’s soul, which requires specific items to do, will increase all of their base stats.
Not all of the regalite are created equal. The special ten-regalite premium character purchase can only be completed with prime regalite. Prime regalite is regalite that has been purchased from in-app purchases, while standard regalite is that which has been earned in any way that doesn’t require spending real-life money. Other than that one purchase, though, both regalites accomplish the same thing and purchase the same things.
