Knights of Puzzelot: Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide

Knights of Puzzelot is a new match three puzzle RPG for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as some character who looks suspiciously like Link from The Legend of Zelda series, and your goal is to quest through stages in an attempt to rescue your town and your castle from the damage that’s been done to it. Read on for some tips and tricks for Knights of Puzzelot!

Coins and diamonds are the two currencies in this game, with coins being the main one and diamonds being the premium currency – the more valuable one, that is. An easy way to get both of them for free is to go to the in app purchase store and tap on the top icon where it says free coins or free diamonds. You’ll have two options from there. You can either watch advertisement videos to earn free currency or take Tapjoy offers to do the same thing. You can do this as many times as you want as long as there are videos or offers available.

The more pieces you knock out in one combo, the bigger the effect. For example, let’s say you knock out the attack piece. You’ll do 1x damage if you match three of them, 2x damage if you match 4, 5x damage if you match 5, and 10x damage if you match 6 (which can only be done by making a horizontal/vertical combo at the same time with the same piece type). This is true for any piece, whether it’s gold, shields, gold bars, crooked swords or potions.

Having trouble on tough stages? Go back to older stages that are fairly easy to beat, and beat them in order to earn more coins. Then put those coins to use by purchasing better weapons, armor and helmets, and upgrading the ones that you already have. Use them to upgrade the training area, too, so that you can train your character to achieve higher and higher battle statistics.

Various boss enemies have different elemental attacks, such as fire or wind. Wind, unlike the other elements, can actually be an advantage because it automatically moves your pieces for you. Let the windy pieces stay there as long as possible, because they will often make combos with your pieces by themselves, which essentially equals a free turn.
