Mage and Minions is a new MMORPG for the iOS and Android platforms. This one, which takes influence from the Diablo series, adds a bit of action to the MMO formula, as you use a wide variety of special moves to defeat large quantities of enemies at the same time. Read on for some tips and tricks for Mage and Minions!
The main way to figure out where you are going next is simply to follow the arrow. The arrow points toward where you need to go in order to find the goal; however, venture out a little bit too, because often you’ll find things that are unexpected. Namely, you will find treasure chests every so often, which contain such things as equipment, gems, and gold.
There are a massive amount of equipment slots for your character. You’re going to want to fill them as soon as possible, but you’ll often have equipment imbalances (I.E. 15 different weapons and no capes or boots), so use crafting to fix this. Put together three items that you don’t need and choose a type of equipment that you want or that you don’t have.
The more powerful the equipment that you sacrifice, the better the item that you end up getting out of it. The level of your equipment is denoted by the number that sits in the middle of the picture; the higher the level of the equipment that you use as a part of the craft, the better the equipment that you will get out of it and the higher its level will be. Ditto when it comes to the rarity of the equipment.
Your abilities all have a cooldown time, but it’s rarely all that long, so use the abilities as often as you can to the point that they stay effective. Most of them are especially effective against large groups of enemies, so use them when you get swarmed to make life a lot easier. If you’re still getting too swarmed do a hit and run strategy, and bolt until you can recharge them, then jump in and attack again.
Go back to old stages if you need to, not only to earn more stars but to farm for gold, apples, and potions. Apples and potions will both restore your life mid battle, so stockpile them for tough battles, especially against bosses.
