Medal Masters is a new mobile RPG by Nexon, a company who releases loads of games and somehow manages to keep them all-original. Your goal in this game is to collect characters and use them to battle against increasingly powerful enemies, with a combination of strategy and strength to win battles, as well as the luck you’ll need in order to continuously gather rare characters. Read on for some tips and tricks for Medal Masters!
The very first thing to do, once you get out of the tutorial, is to take all of your free gems, head off to the premium gacha, and spend them to get new characters. You won’t be able to put all of the super-rare characters into your party at once due to the character cost, but most likely you will be able to add one to begin with. As your levels go up, so will your total character cost, allowing you to gradually strengthen your party.
As you continue to level up by playing around in the battlefield, you will also be able to do new game modes. Once you clear an entire area, you will be able to do the hard mode version of it. Beyond that, leveling up will unlock the Pillage War, Infinite Challenge, the Arena, and the Special Dungeon as your player level in the game increases.
Each character can equip up to four option cards – one of each color, and then a wildcard spot can hold one card of any color. Go to the store and purchase card packs to get more cards for your characters, and if you pull a character from your party, make sure that you unequip whatever cards you want to keep and transfer to someone else.
You can go to the quests area to find ideas on what to do next, but you can find more rewards by hitting the ‘others’ button on the menu and then clicking over to any option that has a red bullet next to it. Scroll up and down the achievements, hero collection and other menus to look for rewards that you can collect, most of which will be free diamonds.
Utilize the barracks as often as possible. At first you can use them to level up heroes in the common tiers, then you can use them for awakening, evolution and skill upgrades. Later on you will be able to unlock the ability to level-up rare heroes too, and more.
