Modern Command – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Modern Command is a really obvious game idea that nobody has really tried yet, for some reason. It’s a tower defense game where YOU actually control the shots that are fired from your defenses, rather than the game doing the work for you. Think of it as tower defense meets Missile Command, as you have to choose your weapons, time the shots right, and destroy the attackers before they destroy you. Read on for some tips and tricks for Modern Command for iOS!

Your Supplies are the game’s form of “energy”, and they run out extremely quickly, especially when you get sucked into the game and find yourself playing endlessly. If you want to restore your Supplies immediately without having to spend any Stars or money, simply set the time ahead on your phone to do so. An hour should be good. You can do this as many times as you want.

The same thing is true for when you have your scientists research a new weapons technology. The game will tell you how long it takes to complete the research. Set the time on your phone or tablet ahead by that amount (plus a few minutes or so to make sure), and then go back to the game and the research will be done.

Having multiple weapons at a time is a huge help in this game, because each weapon has its own cooldown time. Switch weapons as soon as one type of weapon overheats, so that you can keep firing constantly, thus reducing your chances at losing a round. If you are still losing rounds, use research to unlock new weapons and new munitions.

If you log into Facebook and you have friends who play the game, you will all recieve faster research. If you don’t have any friends who play the game, search the App Store for people who do in the reviews page. Or post your information at the bottom of this page, or add people who have already posted their information down in the comments section.

Free stars are always good too. If you want to get free stars, go to the armory or the research area and tap the “free stars” icon that pops up in the lower left corner of the screen, and watch whatever advertisement video pops up for one free star apiece.
