Monster Energy Supercross is a new mobile racing game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal in this game is to start a career against a bevy of other riders, first with a lower-powered bike, but as you upgrade it, it becomes a race-ready track machine. You can race in tournaments and against other players as well as earning cash and coins with which to upgrade your bikes. Read on for some tips and tricks for Monster Energy Supercross!
Your main method of victory is by entering jump and turns and exiting them perfectly, and the closer that you get to that perfect rating, the better your result will be and the faster you go. Pay attention to where the rear wheel of your bike is at all times. If you can make your move when the rear wheel is exactly over the line, you’ll earn that perfect rating, even if you’re still in mid-air during a jump. Watch the vertical line.
Boosts will speed you up, and tricks will recharge your boosts. Hit the boost button and hold it when you’re in a straightaway to start the boost. Hold the boost button when you jump and you’ll automatically launch into a trick. Let go of both buttons when you land and then hit the boost button again immediately. The goal is to use all of the boost time that you can so that you can be as far ahead of your rivals as possible.
If you want to get a specific rider’s bike, you’re going to have to pay real money for it, but if you want to just get a rider’s bike in general, you can spend cash in the store on one of the crates. Buy the 250SX crate for a chance at winning a pro-rider’s 250SX bike, and buy the 450SX crate for a good chance at winning a pro rider’s 450SX bike.
You can win a huge amount of coins in the multiplayer modes, but you can also lose an equally huge amount of coins. Before you move beyond the newbie tier, make sure that your perfect accuracy and boost usage are as perfect as possible, and make sure that your upgrade level is high enough, so that your perfect run doesn’t get derailed simply by dealing with someone who has a stronger bike.
Upgrading your engine, exhaust and suspension will increase your speed, acceleration and your grip. Once you max out your upgrade tier, you need to level your entire bike up, which is done not with coins, but with upgrade points. Go to the multiplayer mode and win races in order to earn more upgrade points. For easy upgrade points, run the newbie races since your goal is the upgrade points and not the coins.
