MonsterCrafter -Top 10 Tips, Tricks and Cheats

MonsterCrafter, which can best be described as Monster Rancher and Minecraft’s lovechild, is possibly the first monster creation RPG where it’s nearly impossible to make two monsters who look exactly alike. You can build monsters, put them on a team, battle them, send them out through countless dungeons, and then do it all over again with increasingly rarer and more powerful forms of monsters. Read on for the top ten tips and tricks for MonsterCrafter!

10) When you create a monster, how you shape it determines its statistics.
Make one small monster and its attack and defense will not change. Make one large monster and its defense will increase while its attack drops. Make multiple little monsters inside your monster making square, and its attack will increase while its defense drops.

9) Train your monster every time before you go into battle.
Training is the only way to keep your monster happy. Don’t train it and you will end up with a monster that refuses to attack. Train it first every time. Even if you have no coins, you can still scoop poop and pet it, and even with just a few coins you can give it a pillow or a basketball. Just increase the overall happiness bar to around halfway and you will be good to go in battle with that monster.

8) Want a quick level for your monster? Just use coins
Go to the “monsters” area, where all of your monster cages are located, tap a monster cage, then tap the yellow and black icon (the “biohazard” looking one). Assuming you have enough coins to do so, you’ll instantly upgrade your monster to the next level up. The coin requirement decreases if your monster is closer to its next level to begin with.

7) Get more monster types than just the fire/water/plant trilogy
You can get rock, electric and alien monsters, as well, which start off much stronger. Tap on one of your unused monster cages and you will be able to choose from six eggs. The three right ones are electric, rock and alien. These will be more expensive than the fire, water and plant eggs, but much more powerful even without any level ups.

6) Need to level up a new monster quickly? Use your strongest monsters to help out.
Your new monster always starts out at level 1, making it fairly unfit for battle against all but the weakest monsters. Rather than go back through every dungeon again, instead send it into battle in a newer dungeon, land one single hit and then swap it out (tap the button to the right of its health bar). Then finish off the fight using your stronger monster. They will share equally in the experience points gained from battle.
