Naruto X Boruto Ninja Voltage is a new action/strategy RPG for the iOS and Android platforms. This game is both single-player and multiplayer and combines action RPG gameplay with base raids and base defense a la War Dragons. You can set your fortress maze, collect Ryo and Chakra, and compete with other players to rise to the top of the leaderboard. Read on for some tips and tricks for Naruto X Boruto Ninja Voltage!
You can either auto-play or manually play the various missions. Auto-play is great for fighting against enemies, but the one area where it falls down is spear floors and other non-living attack obstacles. You’ll constantly run into these, so if they’re too big of a problem, go into manual mode. If you’re in auto-mode, you can still manually control jutsu, or special attacks.
Set your fortress to have the highest amount of traps (spear floors, etc) as possible, because you’ll greatly trip up players who stick with auto-mode. However, make sure to set your most powerful shinobi here, and maximize their power. Setting all four shinobi is something a lot of players don’t do until the advanced stages, but they can mean the difference between winning and losing.
You’ll earn a ton of free Shinobite in the game, so use it to load up on ninja cards and load up your shinobi with the best equipment possible. You can also earn jutsu and ninja tools, and once you begin earning ability points, you can spend them to unlock new abilities for your characters.
You can enhance your ninja cards by sacrificing Chakra in order to power them up. When a ninja card hits the maximum level, you can then evolve it if you have the right evolution materials. Evolution materials can be earned from all of the missions but especially from the special missions. Their rarity will increase, and their level will revert back down to 1, allowing for some major enhancements to be done.
Shinobi can be assigned in your village to buildings such as the bank, restaurant, monument or shrine for the purpose of increasing their production; the rarer shinobi, the better. Shinobi can be in your village, in the fortress, or in the battle party at the exact same time, so there is no reason to skimp on assigning shinobi to any one area.
