The controls in this game are fairly simple, but they can take some time to get used to if you are expecting them to be like similar running games. The arrow button on the left will flip you upside down if you are running on a rope, or cause you to slide at high speed if you’re not. The arrow button on the right can make you jump in double jump, or it can flip you back to the top side of the road if you’re running upside down.

You have two types of attacks that you can use in the stage. Your main attack is based off of what weapon you equip, and recharges in about 30 to 40 seconds after you use it. Your special attack charges as you collect coins throughout the levels. Both of these attacks will be pivotal in defeating bosses at the end of the level.

In addition to those two attacks, you can collect Shuriken tokens as you run through the boss fight. Each time you collect a Shuriken token, a number of Shuriken will be launched out and will do significant damage to the boss. These will often be both over and under ropes.

Be sure to use wishes in order to summon new weapons as frequently as possible. Wishes can be exchanged using scrolls or by spending jades. Your weapons can be of almost any rarity, and from the beginning of the game, you will start earning epic and sometimes even legendary weapons, so try to use the rarest weapons as often as possible.

You can also unlock new summons, which you can ride in battle, allowing you to become invincible and collect a massive number of coins for a limited period of time. To unlock summons, you have to collect their individual shards, which are eagle feathers for the Sky Hawk, and thunder dragon balls for the Thunder Dragon.

For the summons that you do already have, you can send them on patrol missions multiple times a day. These patrol missions will earn rewards such as coins, experience, wishes, and new items, and the more summons that you unlock, the more patrol missions you will be able to do.

Race mode is the endless runner mode for this game, and your goal is to get the highest score possible. Your score will be pitted against the scores of many other players, and depending on how high you score, you can earn higher rewards, including the grand prize if you make it to first place.
