Ninja Up! – Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide

Ninja Up! is a new endless jumping game by Gameloft. Odd to see that the company that’s usually known more for big ticket releases that clearly cost a lot of money to develop is jumping into the arena of simple, quick to play games (with no in-app purchases, amazingly enough) but that’s exactly what this is. The retro 8-bit revival graphics and simple gameplay are perfectly tailored to those who found Flappy Bird to be addicting. Read on for some tips and tricks for Ninja Up!

The height that your ninja jumps depends on the width of the line that you draw under him. The wider lines are much easier to aim your ninja with, and should be used when you have a crowd of obstacles and enemies that you have to jump past. The narrow lines are more difficult to aim, but your ninja will jump far higher off of the thinner lines. Use these to go a long distance in a short period of time.

Wait to draw your lines until your ninja stops his ascent and is about to begin, or has already begun, his descent. This way, you’ll be able to aim your line specifically towards where your ninja is about to fall, making it much easier to aim him past the enemies up above, or to draw a narrow line and send him shooting upwards.

If you draw a line early and you notice that your ninja is about to fall past a line, draw another line. Your first one will disappear, and your second one will show up where you draw it. You can redraw a line as many times as you need to for it to be accurate before your ninja falls, so don’t let him fall past any lines.

The social features of this game allow you to connect on Facebook and to compete against your friends for the highest scores. If you want more friends to compete against, add people who post “add me” requests in the comments section of this article, in Facebook groups, or in the App Store review pages for this game. Or invite your friends to download the game – specifically the ones who more frequently download mobile games.

To get the biggest boost in speed, send your ninja as close to straight up as possible, and use a short line. You’ll see the sound barrier cone appear over your ninja, and you’ll gain more than twice the height that you would normally get off of a ninja.
