On The Run – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How To Win, and Strategy Guide

On The Run is a new racing game for the iOS and Android by Miniclip, based off of the same game from the website Miniclip.com. Your goal is to get as far as you can to prevent the “secret documents” from falling into the wrong hands. You have to go through checkpoints so that you don’t run out of time, while collecting power-ups and earning coins. Read on for some tips and tricks for On The Run!

Wanna get as far as possible? Look out for the lightning pieces that show up randomly, because when you collect three of them, you will get a super speed boost, as well as invincibility, which allows you to bash through any random car and earn coins for doing so. Drive up the ramp trucks, too, to jump over the line of cars, get a speed boost, and get a very short shield.

Smart drafting will get you far as well. The more cars in a row that you draft, the higher the combo and the faster you’ll go. But be sure to upgrade your car because if your top speed is too low (and your other stats are too), then you will need to upgrade to move on farther into the stages. You can unlock new tracks if you go far enough in the first stage (or if you spend a lot of diamonds)

You can earn a lot of coins through the races themselves, but look out for the Free Coins button to light up in color at the bottom of the main screen. Once it does, you will be able to watch an advertisement video and earn some free coins off of it. Do this as many times as you can until the videos run out. Then come back in fifteen minutes or so and the videos should return.

You have four gasoline, and each run that you make costs you one gasoline. If you want to get your gasoline back right away for free without having to wait for the timer, then go to the date and time settings on your phone and set the time ahead by half an hour to an hour (to restore a completely empty gas meter). You can do this trick as many times as you want to.

Use all of those coins to upgrade your car and to purchase new cars. Upgrades are fairly cheap; purchases can be rather expensive but if you hold off on the upgrades and keep grinding for coins, you’ll be able to purchase more new cars a whole lot more quickly.
