One Tap Tennis is a new mobile game by EA Chillingo. Your goal in this game is to defeat round after round of opponents in a tennis match, but all of the running is done for you. All that you have to do is hit the tennis ball at the right time to return the shot and wear your opponent out. Your opponents get tougher and tougher so you will have to work harder and harder to beat them. Read on for some tips and tricks for One Tap Tennis!
Returning a shot is a very simple matter. All that you have to do is tap the screen whenever the line is inside of the yellow zone. If the line is inside of the red zone, then you will get double the score from the tap as you would if it was merely in the yellow zone. Get as many red shots as possible to defeat opponents quickly and move up faster in the leaderboard.
Pay no attention to the ball whatsoever. The only thing that you should be looking at and focusing on is the line that flows across the stage, so that you can know where to place the line inside of the yellow zone and make an accurate hit. The ball itself will not accurately show you where its location is.
Hit the save button after you beat an opponent and if you lose during the circuit, you will restart on that opponent rather than restarting at the very beginning. Do this so that you don’t have to go all the way through the circuit again, because chances are that you will lose at least once before you eventually beat the circuit.
Once you beat a particular circuit, you will unlock a new character. All characters tend to play the same, so there is no real point other than customization and collection. Even after unlocking a character, you can customize them from the home menu the same way that you can customize the character that you began the game with.
All characters can be purchased from the home screen, as well, if they have not been unlocked. Most of them cost 99 cents to purchase; however, the alien costs $2.99 to purchase. Buying the alien will also make all of the mandatory ads disappear from the game. The optional ads (the ones that play when you are saving your game midway through a circuit) will still show up, though.
