Drag racing is easy, but street racing can be a little bit tougher to figure out. Tilt your phone to the left or to the right in order to change lanes so that you don’t run into everybody. You lose speed as soon as you hit someone, which is bad in the cruise, although it’s necessary in the CTF mode.

To win at the CTF mode, you have to keep the flag as long as possible, and if someone hits you from behind, they will take the flag, so you want to hold your speed down to a manageable level until you can get around the crowd of cars. If someone takes your flag, chase them down by following the checkered flag icon.

Use the dyno to figure out what your optimal shift points are. Your horsepower and torque will each level off at certain points, usually around the same points, and the RPM that they level off at is the RPM that you want to shift at in order to cut the most time possible off of your actual races.

For the most part, leaving your gearing stock will serve you well, but make small (VERY SMALL) changes for specific types of races when you have an extremely fast car. For example, gear ratios should be longer for mile races than for quarter-mile races. Don’t change the numbers too much or you will end up throwing off your car’s speed potential.
