Pocket Summoner: Origin is a new monster collection game for the iOS platform, and is the prequel to Pocket Summoner Episode 1. Your goal is to go through the game finding new varieties of ghosts and spirits to summon, from animals to monsters to plants and everything in between, and use them in battle against other players and against the tyranny of the king and his laws which attempt to quash all summoning. Read on for some tips and tricks for Pocket Summoner: Origin!
Unlike most games of this type, you can only use one of your monsters in each battle; if your monster dies, that means that you lose the round, even though you may have other monsters who are alive. Take note of which monster types are strongest against which, and send in the right matches in order to get a sizeable advantage.
You earn mana after every battle, which can be used to level up your characters, but your characters can only be leveled up to the same max level as what your current player level is. If you are stuck and you need to get a higher player level, play through some old levels until you level up, or until you earn some mana so that you can increase your creature levels. And be sure to enchant them using various fruit and vegetables – you can enchant them once per level.
Attack quickly, because the longer you take to tap, the more time the enemy will have to recover after they launch an attack. Pay attention to the blue bar below your health menu as that’s your recovery after you use an attack. Start tapping as soon as it fills – or even before it fills if you really want to be sure.
There is unfortunately no trick to getting more souls – it’s essentially a numbers game. Just keep trying to get more souls and you will eventually catch one. The higher that your player level is, though, the better your chances of earning the soul will be.
Build your home base wisely. You’ll need stone and wood to build in it, so make sure that you add a miner and lumber mill. Talk to them often as they have things to say that are sometimes funny and sometimes grumpy, or both at the same time. Be sure to place a rune stone as well so that you can complete quests and earn gold.
