The controls are simple in this game: press nothing to run, and tap the screen in order to jump. The length of time that you tap for controls how high and how long your jump is, just like in most platformers. Unlike most endless runners, there is no double-jumping in this game, so you have to keep a lookout for high platforms and long distances to make sure that you jump in time to land them.

You can collect rubies as you run. Right now they can’t be used to purchase anything, but wait until the next update, as the developers plan to add a store to the game. The store will be located inside of the icon that looks like a shirt on the main menu, but right now, “coming soon” is all that it says inside of the store icon when you tap it.

Want to compare your high scores to the high scores of other players? Tap the bar graph icon to open up the high scores in either Google Play or Game Center, depending on whether you are playing with an iOS device or with an Android device. There is still no cross-platform play between iOS and Android, so you can only compare to players on the same platform that you’re on.

Most of the time, you’ll be able to see spikes before they come up out of the floor. Sometimes, though, beginning at around level 8, spikes will come up and you won’t be able to see them sitting in the floor beforehand. So always keep on the lookout, and be prepared to make a quick reaction, because they’ll pop up right in front of you if you’re not paying attention.

If you have 100 gems, you’ll be able to restart from where you left off after you die. If you have an internet connection, you’ll be able to use a video restart to do the same thing. Don’t bother with this if you only made it 25% of the way through the level, but do this if you made it through at least 75%.
