Red Bit Escape is a new game by Red Bit Games, previously known for making Flappy Bird clones and “clicker” games. This game is simple, quick and insanely difficult. Your aim is to move a red square around, avoid all of the blue squares, and avoid going out of bounds, for as long of a time as possible. Read on for some tips and tricks for Red Bit Escape!
The blue squares move in the exact same pattern every time that you play, and if you memorize the pattern you can figure out where you need to move the red square in order to avoid the blue squares. For example, at 15 seconds, keep your red square out of the lower left corner of the screen, because all four blue squares will converge on that corner at the exact same time.
Immediately after that, move the red square down to the bottom of the play area as the blue squares will all shoot to the top. Then, at about 20 seconds, move the little red square up to the top of the play area, as the blue squares will shoot to the bottom and take up the whole bottom half. Then finally, at 22 seconds, move your red square in between the two blue squares on the right as they bounce back up to the top.
Never discount reflexes, though, and quick movement because if you just memorize patterns, it totally takes the “luck” factor out of the equation and restricts how good of a time you can end up with. Keep memorizing good square placements as you go, though. Memorize enough of them and you should be able to break 30 seconds, then 45 seconds, then even a minute, fairly easily.
However, if you are getting frustrated with the game, take a break, as the more agitated you get, the more the mistakes pile up. Also, try to play with your thumb or finger in a position that you can easily look round it (upright is better), because it can be very easy to block off your view of all of the squares.
The game tends to be easier to play on tablets and Android phones, due to their larger screen size making it easier to see. However, iPhones and their small screen sizes allow for faster movements. In addition, if your fingers start to get sticky and sweaty from playing too much, drag the square with your fingernail or use a stylus for faster movements.
