In order to do this, first, go to your phone or tablet settings, then go to display. Set the display so that it does not automatically go to sleep. This is the first step.
The next step is, when you are inactive for a long period of time, such as when you are sleeping, leave the game on the active screen. You will collect rent endlessly, without the 240 minute limit, and you will collect money much faster than you would if the game was offline. Then, when you pick up the game to play again, you will have an absolutely massive stash of cash to play with.

There are many ways to earn free diamonds in this game. Your tenants will often come to you and want to talk to you about various problems that they are having in their life. When this happens, talk to them, and if you have a choice of multiple things to say, try to give them the best advice possible. After the conversation is over, wait for about an hour or so, and they will send you diamonds as a free reward. Often, they will send you cash also.
Sometimes, though, this advice will cause the tenants to move out after they decide what they want to do with their life. If this happens, then all you have to do is simply try to get another tenant. The diamonds that you earn from giving them advice are worth it for the small amount of cash that you have to spend in order to get a new tenant.
Every once in a while, Cashdaddy will show up and offer you free cash in exchange for watching an advertisement video. The amount of cash that you earn is dependent on the amount of total rent that you earn per hour. The more apartments and tenants you have and the higher the levels of your fixtures and furniture, the more money that you will receive for watching an advertisement video.
Click on the diamond button on the right side of the screen, and you can claim free diamonds. These diamonds build up over time as you watch advertisement videos for other reasons, such as doubling your offline income, or claiming the free money from Cashdaddy. The more advertisement videos that you watch for other reasons, the more free diamonds that you will be able to eventually claim.
The further that you get into the game, the longer that it will take to construct each apartment, to the point where it can take over an hour. If you want to speed things up, you have two different options. One of these options is to watch an advertisement video, which takes 10 minutes off the amount of time that it takes to build the apartment. The other option is to spend diamonds, which, if you have enough of them, can complete the apartment instantly.
As your community prosperity level increases, you will unlock various new features. For example, early on, you will unlock the ability to upgrade the desk and workstation at each apartment. You will also unlock the ability to construct new facilities, such as the laundry room. When you get to a later point in the game, you will even be able to unlock an entirely new city to build an apartment in.
