Restaurant Story 2: Tips, Tricks, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Restaurant Story 2 is the long awaited sequel to the original Restaurant Story for the iOS platform, and likely coming soon to Android as well. As before, your goal is to take your little restaurant to the big time and grow it large, while collecting coins and gems and expanding outward and discovering various areas in the rest of the city. Read on for some tips and tricks for Restaurant Story!

Unlike most games by TeamLava, this one actually seems to work with the time lapse cheat. It’s slightly spotty but it works most of the time. The way to pull this off is to go to the date and time settings and set the time ahead on your phone or tablet. Then go back to the game and the food that you are trying to cook or sell will be complete, as will the cooldown for any food that you collect from outside.

Once you do that, eventually the server will catch up and reverse itself, so while you still have all of the coins and other pieces of food that you collected, the stoves will appear to have been packed up in a box. Once this happens you can try to sell the stove and buy a new stove, or let the time go on its own until the stove reverses itself.

You can have things finish quickly when friends visit, or strangers visit. Go to the social area and visit people over and over until you increase your social bar to at least two out of four hearts, because the higher you are, the more often your restaurant will appear on other people’s social menus, which means that more people will go to your kitchen. Add people to keep them coming back as well.

Another bonus to having friends is that you and your friends can send each other quick serves as gifts. Quick serves are what the hand icon depicts, and they allow you to instantly cook or sell food without having to wait it out. Find people by attempting to add their restaurant name (many have the same restaurant and player name) or posting add me requests on the walls of other people.

Or if you want to invite people quickly, link your restaurant to your storm8 account or sign up for one and you will be able to add people, and they add you, right through the mini social network itself. Another alternative is to look in the comment section of this article, on Facebook or on the App Store review page.

Have as many appliances as your level will allow you to. The more appliances, the more that you can cook at once, so have more counters to serve your food, and have more tables and chairs in order that more customers can stay in and eat.
