Rival Stars Horse Racing is one of the most popular equestrian games in the history of the iOS and Android platforms, and we’re back with part three of our walkthrough and tips guide for it!
(Previously: Part two of the Rival Stars Horse Racing Tips, Cheats, and Strategy Guide)
Eventually, you’ll have a huge glut of horses, and it will come time to sell one or more of them. The obvious choice is to sell the ones that have the lowest level caps (AKA: low tier horses). Sell them to make room in your stables, or upgrade the horse stalls in order to get more of them
Before you do that, though, check the daily goals. The daily goals have a diverse amount of different things to do, like sell horses, click the income collection area of the homestead, and other things that you won’t find in the story quests. Someone might want to buy a horse, even a low-tier one, for less money than you’ll be able to sell it for.
Before you sell a horse, decide if you want to keep it around for its track preference and its pack position preference. All of these play into what traits your next horse comes out with; the more a specific trait appears in your mare’s and in the stud’s pedigrees, the more likely it is that your baby horse will come out with that same trait.
What that means is that the more horses in the lineage have, for example, a preference for a hard track, the more likely it is that your baby horse will prefer a hard track. The immediate parents’ preferences will be the dominant trait, while the grandparents’ and great-grandparents’ traits will be the recessive traits.
Do the limited edition events for a different spin on the game besides running a standard race. You can do activities such as a time trial against live players, or a race against live players (and not the CPU).
These will be much harder to do well at compared to the races (except for the hardest of the races), but the potential rewards are greater.
For all of the event races, you earn roses as a reward. Roses are the rarest currency in the whole game, and they can be spent on one thing, which is the rose wheel.
Spin the rose wheel for a hefty reward. This reward can consist of more advanced grain, feed, and tack for your horse, or it can consist of hardware for your upgrades. The most coveted reward, of course, is the free gold, of which there is over 100 if your spin is extremely lucky.
The rose wheel is one of the sources of free gold in the game; the other is the story quests. Even though free gold comes a little at a time, you can make the most of it by refusing to spend your gold.
Use ad videos to speed things up instead, whether it’s training or upgrades. Or just have patience and wait it out. There is plenty to do in this game when you’re waiting for something.
We tried to do the time lapse cheat in this game; unfortunately, you can’t quite pull it off. If you set the time ahead in this game, it will appear to momentarily skip every wait period, but then the game will revert right back after talking to the server. There might be a way to pull it off, such as doing the trick in an area with a lousy connection, but not an area with no connection.
How can you increase a horses distance???
