Rope Racers is a multiplayer competitive rope-swinging racing game for the iOS and Android platforms. You can collect racers and compete against players from all over the world, and even against your Facebook friends. You can earn cash and coins to purchase various upgrades and customizations, and compete in harder and harder leagues. Read on for some tips and tricks for Rope Racers!
Timing your swings right is how you win the race, because if you can keep at an even level, let go at the right time, and then latch on at the right time, you’ll keep going faster and faster. Hold on for too long and you’ll hit the roof, slowing you down drastically. Hold on for too short of a time and you’ll hit the ground, which also slows you down.
The beginner league is the first one that you’ll be able to play in, and oftentimes it’s the best one for earning coins, despite the lower first-place rewards, because the competition is not as good. You’ll still earn coins for coming in second place or worse in any league, but if it’s not first place, it won’t be enough to make back what you bet.
If you get two of the same racer card, you can upgrade that racer. You can purchase duplicate cards for a racer that you already have using coins. Rarer racers tend to have better stats to begin with so if you have a rare racer, upgrade it primarily.
To get new racers, you can spend 100 cash in the gacha. Cash is earned as a reward for completing missions, or through free gifts. Complete your missions before refreshing; if you refresh before earning your rewards, you lose those missions for good, or at least until they come up again in the mission rotation.
Hit the boost button and you can activate a head start for every race for the next four hours. This doesn’t cost anything; all that you have to do is watch a trailer and you get the bonus. You can activate the bonus as many times per day as you want by watching another video after your current bonus runs out.
