Royal Revolt 2: Attack Guide, Page 2

Send in your hero first, allowing him to cast spells and do damage to enemy towers and other obstacles, such as barricades and especially spike pads. Your troops are stupid and will run onto spike pads immediately, but if you stand right next to a platform you will start attacking it without taking damage from it. Destroy it before your troops get there in order to save them a LOT of heartache. Also, bomb towers are a particular pain in the ass, but a well-placed spell by your hero can send bombs right back at enemy troops and defenses, causing them massive damage.

Let your summoning meter charge while you are doing this, then right when it gets full, send out a flood of troops. After that, keep a steady stream coming as backup. Send your hero out ahead to destroy barricades, while your troops destroy the towers, in order to speed up your path to the enemy’s castle gate.

To get three crowns and the full compliment of coins, you have to destroy all of the towers AND the castle gate – if you miss towers you miss crowns. Most of the coins, though, are earned by destroying the castle gate, though, and considering that time is limited, sometimes it can be best to call your troops past the towers. Tap the picture of your hero in the corner of the screen to summon all of your on-screen troops to your current location.

Before you even begin a battle, you can analyze the rewards and the layout and difficulty of an opponent’s lair to see if it’s worth attacking or not. Hit the “next” button and spend the minimal amount of coins required to move onto the next opponent if the battle is too tough and you want an easier one that’s a guaranteed win. Or, do this if you want a higher-earning battle and the one you are considering engaging in is worth a minimal amount of coins compared to how much food you spend on it, or how difficult it is.

Finally, to win more battles, you need to be able to fight more battles and to fight more battles, you will need to get more food. The easiest way to get more food? Keep your farms upgraded, maximize your number of farms as you go (you can get a third farm at Throne Room level 2 and a fourth farm at Throne Room level 4). And upgrade your silo so that you can hold more food at a time, so that you can stash it away for whenever you want to engage in marathon battle sessions.
