RunBot is a new endless runner game for the iOS platform in which you play as a robot who is trying to escape from those who want to use him as a killer in war. Your goal is to run as far as you can, collecting batteries in order to keep your energy going, shooting your lasers to kill the drones that are trying to get you, and rolling under or jumping over obtacles. Read on for some tips and tricks for RunBot for iPhone and iPad!

The farther you run, the more that you increase your rank. However, your rank increases FAR more quickly when you play in the Hardcore mode, rather than in the Casual mode, so if it’s rank that you’re after, keep playing in this mode. However, if it’s batteries that you’re after, play the casual mode, because it’s easier to actually run a longer distance and collect batteries.

Spend batteries on upgrades which will help you earn more batteries first. The magnet is a good one because it’ll allow you to pick up batteries that aren’t even in your lane. So is any upgrade that will help you last longer, really, because the longer you last the more batteries you’ll pick up. Go for the purple batteries first as they are worth more, and will increase your energy more.

You can shoot your laser at any time, not just right when you get to the drones. Shoot your laser early on to blast drones that are far away from you, so you don’t have to worry about shooting them at the last minute.

Do the jump or the roll move (swipe up or down to do these moves) well before you get to whatever obstacle you are trying to avoid. If you do the move early, your runbot will wait to perform the move until it gets to the obstacle, meaning that the game automatically times the move perfectly for you. Swipe to whatever side you need to get to early, because some walls move forward, and you don’t want to get killed by a wall before you get the chance to use your shield.

Batteries and Super Cores are the two currencies in the game. While super cores are rare, you can sometimes find them sitting in the field of play. Difficulty level doesn’t affect the chances of getting Super Cores. Whenever you see them, pick them up right away.
