Slingshot Braves – How to get rare weapons, armor and helmets

Slingshot Braves is one of the most popular new free to play RPGs on the iOS and Android platforms. Unlike most mobile RPGs, this game has only a select few characters that you can use, but it more than makes up for it with the sheer variety of weapons, armor and helmets that you can earn. Equipment is graded C, B, or A based on rarity – or bronze, silver and gold. Read on to find out how to get more rare equipment in Slingshot Braves!

The gacha, of course, is the most obvious place to find rare equipment. Whenever you have 5 gems to spare, go to the Gacha game and take your chances. You’re most likely to get a B grade item, but you’ll get an A-grade item if you’re lucky. Watch out for the inventory to change as well, depending on what events are going on.

B-grade items pop up surprisingly commonly as rewards for beating your normal, standard dungeons. Tougher dungeons will generally provide better prizes. Go back to old dungeons and beat them, too, and you’ll have the same kind of chance of earning that treasure.

Evolving items will upgrade their rarity by one, so a C-grade item can turn into a B-grade item, and a B-grade item can turn into an A-grade item. To evolve an item, first you have to upgrade it until its level is at its maximum. Then you will have the option to evolve it using a specific combination of items.

The items are exclusive to the piece of equipment itself, and are going to depend on what material that equipment is made out of. The rarer the starting piece of equipment, the tougher it will be to find the necessary materials. The best place to do so is in the daily quests. Each quest has three difficulties – the higher the one that you play (and the more energy that it costs), the better your chances of getting those rare materials.

Complete blueprints to get rare weapons. Blueprint pieces can be found by beating dungeons. There is one piece per dungeon, and once you complete it, you can build a brand new weapon, armor or helmet.

Finally, participate in the co-op mode as often as possible. Co-op mode offers prizes that can’t be found within the standard dungeons. And pay attention to the events, as special events will almost always come with rare prizes.
