Slingshot Braves – Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide, Page 2

The combo attacks are the key to battles, and even moreso are the chain combos. The way a chain combo works is that one character’s combo will be carried over to the next character when you bounce the active character off of the inactive character, whether that bounce leads to an attack or not. So theoretically, you can essentially keep the combo going indefinitely.

The longer you keep a combo attack going, the more of an attack bonus you get, making this one of the easiest ways to do massive amounts of damage to enemies, as well. If you aren’t in a position that facilitates pulling off a chain combo (E.G. your active character uses a hammer and your inactive character is on the opposite side of the monsters), then use your saved-up skill. The skill doesn’t add to the combo, but it doesn’t break the combo either.

The only place where you can buy equipment is in the Gacha, which is a game of chance, so there’s always the chance that you won’t get what you want and you will still be out by 5 gems. So if you are stuck and you need new equipment, you can go to old battles or new battles and win the equipment, then upgrade it and use it as you wish.

Equipment that is unneeded for other purposes can also be dismantled for its parts. When you dismantle it, it will become materials, and the materials can then be used for upgrading other equipment. Equipment can also be sold for gold, which will allow you to pay for more upgrades.

There are loads of event stages, some of which are moderately hard to beat, and some of which are INSANELY hard to beat. All of them, almost without exception, will contain far better (and usually more specialized) prizes than the standard stages will, so play these to rapidly strengthen and increase stats.

Tap on the “result” button in the main menu to see a list of different achievements you can accomplish, all of which are listed in Game Center for some reason. EEach one that you complete will earn you free gems. Most of them, though, will be completely hidden until the time that you actually beat them, though, so you will have to hope that you stumble upon them until someone releases a full list of achievements.
