Sloper is a new game by Voodoo for the iOS and Android platforms where you roll a ball at high speed up and down hills in order to get the highest score and the most airtime possible. You can compete for a high score with players from all around the world on whatever platform you use, and try to extend your airtime out for as long as possible. Read on for some tips and tricks for Sloper!
Aiming the ball from one platform to the next sounds simple enough, but your ideal target changes depending on what you jump or fall off of. Fall off of a flat part with no speed boosts and you’ll just be aiming for the next one, but jump a ramp or get a speed boost, or both, and you’ll be aiming farther down.
The hoops that you jump through in this game will speed you up and allow you to get maximum air time. Fly through a hoop and you’ll launch forward; aim for the next hoop and you’ll launch forward again. Aim for as many hoops as possible in a row to cause your score to skyrocket rapidly.
The distance that you go is the main factor that determines how many points you get, but its not the ONLY factor. Air time is a factor too. For each meter of air time that you get, you score one point, so it’s best to try to stay in the air for as long as possible. The easiest way to get a ton of air time is to hit a speed boost followed by a jump, or to hit the speed hoops after jumping.
As of the time of this writing, there are currently no upgrades or unlocks for the ball. However, Voodoo always adds them to the game some time after the release date, so when they do, expect different balls to be added to the game as unlocks that you can earn for completing various tasks, score missions, and whatnot.
After you die once, you can then watch an advertisement video to begin again from where you left off. If you don’t want to do that or you have no internet connection, then you can simply start over again from the beginning and from a score of 0. You’ll still get ads, so if you want no ads at all, either play in airplane mode or make the in-app purchase to go ad-free.
