Solitaire Cooking Tower is a new game for the iOS and Android platforms that centers mainly around the playing of solitaire, but frames it around building a tower full of restaurants and bakeries. You can earn stars and coins, open new restaurants, and add new dishes to your current restaurants. Read on for some tips and tricks for Solitaire Cooking Tower!
If you are not an old-school solitaire veteran, the game can be a bit tricky at first. The main key to remember is not to start stacking cards up at the top (in the “foundation”) too quickly. You’re best served by trying to build your main stacks first (the “tableau”), and then putting away your cards, moving them from the tableau to the foundation afterwards.
If you start stacking the foundation too quickly, there’s a way to remedy the situation. You can move cards from the foundation back to the tableau in order to complete your stacks. If you find yourself stuck with not enough cards to fill out your foundations, move them back to the tableau and stack them up. Then, when they are all stacked up, start loading up the foundation again and you will often have an easier time getting the tableau emptied out.
You win various prizes when you complete rounds and simply for logging back into the game, to include shuffles, hints, and undos. A hint will suggest a beneficial move to make next, but it misdirects you often. Undos will allow you to take back one move for free. Shuffles will rotate the face-down cards in the tableau, but not the face-up ones, so they might benefit, but they are best paired with the undo so that you can actually see a tangible benefit.
Complete the games to earn stars, and complete them as quickly as possible, and with as few mistakes as possible, in order to earn even more stars. Plus, the more games you complete, the closer you get to unlocking a new restaurant or a new menu item. Keep finishing games to unlock more and more of your tower.
One of the biggest keys to success is knowing when to give up and start again. If you hit “restart”, you start the current game again with the same card positions, so a restart followed by a shuffle can help you succeed very easily. Otherwise, a new game will give you a freshly reshuffled deck so that you can try again with a completely different chance of success.
