Spellspire – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

Spellspire is a new puzzle RPG with a bit of a twist. In this game, you have a list of letters, and you have to spell words in order to unleash attacks against monsters. Longer words make for more damage, and at specific time intervals, enemies will attack you, so you have to spell quickly enough to avoid getting attacked. Read on for some tips and tricks for Spellspire!

You can’t use the same word twice but you can use versions of the same word. In order to make a load of quick words, use past tense, plurals and singular words, and change one or two letters in the word to make another quick word. Also, this game accepts profanities, so be sure to try them out.

If you replay a level that you have already beaten, you have the chance to earn a star. Typically this is done by beating the level without taking any damage, which requires you to unleash words at a high rate of speed, before enemies have a chance to kill you. Each floor has one possible star. You’ll also earn an extra coin bonus for doing this.

New upgrades can be unlocked depending either on how many stars you have, or what the highest floor is that you have beaten, so every time you either earn more stars or make it to a higher floor, go to the equipment purchase menu and see what new goodies you have.

However, your pre-existing equipment can be upgraded – multiple times in fact, to make it far more powerful. This goes for wands, hats, and robes. Each successive upgrade costs just a little bit more gold than the last, so generally, only upgrade as much as you need to in order to get more stars or to make it past a tough floor. Don’t waste too many coins without buying new equipment.

To go the easiest on coins, upgrade your equipment evenly. Do one upgrade at a time on your current wand, hat or robe if you are trying to make it to a new floor. If stars are your focus, though, upgrade your wand primarily. The more attack power that you have, the easier that it will be to speed through a level without getting hit.
