Splashy Cats is a new endless river inner-tube surfing game for the iOS and Android. Your goal is to take your cats as far as you can without letting them hit water. In the process you can score coins and unlock new cats until you build up an entire collection of them. Read on for some tips and tricks for Splashy Cats!
Try to keep your cat as close to the middle of the path as possible. If you are aiming for the middle, you will have a much easier time avoiding the walls just by not touching them. If you don’t aim for the middle and instead let yourself drift off to the sides, it will be tougher to avoid hitting a wall instead of continuing on the path.
Always be sure to watch where you are going and look ahead before you decide which path to take in the course. Starting at around 10 points or less you will encounter dead-ends, and if you aren’t looking ahead you will not see which course is the dead end until it is too late.
You have two main ways of earning coins, besides the main one of collecting coins while you are playing a round. If you play and then die , often either a free gift pop will appear, based on the time interval, and you’ll earn around 100 coins a pop from it, sometimes more. Other times, a video offer will pop up and if you watch a video, you will earn free coins – not quite as much as the previous bonus, but it appears more frequently, so the coins add up over time.
When you get 100 of these coins, you will be able to purchase a new character from the gacha. New characters will appear from the gacha (or duplicates of characters you have already acquired). They do not provide any extra performance boosts; they simply provide customization so that the appearance of your levels will be slightly different, in addition to the appearance of your character.
Whenever you die in the game, you will have the option to start again from where you left off in exchange for watching an ad video, or you will be able to start back over from zero and no video. Watch the video only if you already have a very high score but are not quite to the point of beating it when you die.
