Bouncing from platform to platform without falling is how you keep your run alive, but your accuracy at jumping onto the right spots of each platform will decide whether you get a high score or just jump around forever without beating your high score. Hit the white dots on tiles to increase your multiplier. The multiplier increases keep coming until you miss a white dot, then you’ll be back down to one point per jump.
Jump on the rainbow tiles too. These are almost as important as the white dots. When you hit a rainbow icon, the size of the platforms will increase. If you miss a rainbow icon, then the platforms will shrink back down to their normal sizes. But when you hit multiple rainbow tiles in a row, the platforms will keep increasing and increasing in size.
As you play you’ll unlock new platforms and tiles based on various actions completed, such as score milestones. The balls are cosmetic, but the platforms can actually impact your run, because they’re different shapes and sizes. Wider platforms will make it that much easier to hit your targets which will keep your run going for longer periods of time.
You can collect gems as well, but right now, the gems that you collect can’t actually be spent on anything. That doesn’t mean there won’t be anything to spend them on in the future, though. Keep an eye out for the developers to add some form of store to the game, where you’ll be able to spend gems on certain perks or new skins of some type.
The ads can be a bit much in this game, but if you want to get rid of them, the primary way to do so is to make the two-dollar in-app purchase using the no-ads button. Either that, or set your phone or tablet into airplane mode while you play the game, and the ads will go away.
