Star Wars: Assault Team Cheats and Tips: The Strategy Guide, Page 2

-Want to add more hero slots to your deck? Easy. Just go to the Edit Team screen and hit the plus sign next to “Heroes” and you can spend a couple Corusca Gems for it.
-Do the same thing with the plus sign next to the items card counter in order to increase the size of that one, too.

-The more effective thing to do, though, would be to sell the cards that you don’t need and don’t feel like using for upgrades. Credits are a hot commodity, and if you save up enough of them, you can start buying some silver decks and trying for third-tier cards.

-Match up the training items properly in order to gain experience point bonuses. For example, anybody who carries a gun will earn a bonus from the weapons training items. Han Solo and other mercenaries will earn bonuses from the smuggler training. Robots will earn bonuses from the electrical training items, and Jedi or Sith characters will gain bonuses by using the force.

-The exact same thing rings true for promotion items, except these will also have a chance of increasing your characters’ tier (rarity) if you match them up correctly.
-If you want to expand the Tapjoy offer wall past what is offered in the game, go to the Tapjoy website and complete the offers that you see for Star Wars: Assault Team. All of them will involve apps that you have to download and then run on your phone or tablet.

-Concentrate on defeating one single enemy character at a time. Figure out how many attacks it will take to kill them (generally), and in what order the enemies are attacking. Don’t attack the guy who’s shooting next. Attack whoever is shooting last or second to last so that you can force the enemy to cancel a turn.

-If possible, save your training materials and your excess troops until you have tier 3 or above cards that you can improve them with. Even though you won’t always be able to do this due to tough missions, this will majorly increase the impact of adding a strong troop to the party.
