Star Wars: Tiny Death Star – How to earn more Credits and free Imperial Bux

Star Wars: Tiny Death Star takes the gameplay that NimbleBit introduced in the original Tiny Tower, and transfers it over to a whimsical take on the Star Wars universe. As Darth Vader, you have been tasked by Chancellor Palpatine to raise money for the construction of a new Death Star. Your method of doing that is by creating a vertical city full of apartments and different kinds of shops, and attracting Bitizens to live and work in your city. Credits are the main currency of the game, while Imperial Bux are the premium currency. Read on to find out how to get more of both!

The main method of earning more credits in this game is simply to have your shops fully manned. You have three jobs that you can do at each shop. The short jobs are new far less money, while the long jobs earn you far more money, so do the long job so when at all possible.

Match up your bitizens with their preferred jobs, or with the closest thing that you can find to their preferred jobs. The higher the bitizen is rated for the job that you put them in, the faster they will complete the job, which equates to more credits earned.

You can trade Imperial Bux for credits at a rate of about one Bux for 250 credit. The more Bux you spend, though, the more credits per Bux that you will earn.

If you really want to cheat in order to earn credits quickly, set the time ahead on your phone or tablet whenever you want to speed up the stocking or the selling of items. There is no set amount of time to put it ahead by, but when you return to the app, everything will be done. Do this as many times as you want to, but after you do, take a long break from the game, because if you set the time back to normal and then go back to the game, strange things will happen, such as residents disappearing.

You can earn free Bux by checking the elevators constantly. Most of the time you will get credits, but often times you will get free Bux as well. Also, you will get bonus Bux every time that you add a new floor and complete construction on it. Keep checking your quests that Chancellor Palpatine gives you as well, because while most of them will earn you credits, some of them will earn you free Bux.

Plus, any time that you find a rebel spy, you will earn one free Imperial Bux when you catch them. There are two ways you will know when a rebel spy has appeared. Either the game will give you an immediate pop up, or an icon will appear in the lower left corner of the screen, and if you tap the icon, it will tell you.
