Summoner’s Greed is a new idle tower defense game for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as the villain, and it’s your goal to stop a bunch of heroes from invading your dungeon and stealing your treasure. You can unlock all manner of monsters and spells using orbs, gems, and coins. Read on for some tips and tricks for Summoner’s Greed!
The game keeps going until one of the heroes steals your treasure. From there, you can either try again on the same wave, or time warp back to the first wave, or the most recent wave after a boss fight. If you choose the time warp, you will keep your monsters and their upgrade levels. If you try again, you’ll either pay gems or watch an advertisement video in order to try again.
In addition, if you choose to time warp back to an old wave, you can rearrange your monsters for the most advantageous positions on the board. It’s best to put them not only where they will have the biggest area of attack, but where they will help out other monsters. For example, a totem can help adjacent monsters, so put as many next to it as possible. And a monster with a stun ability can give other monsters the opportunity to maximize damage dealt.
You get orbs for completing each wave for the first time, but it’s best to time-warp back to the very first level when you lose. The reason is so that you can earn more coins through a bunch of easy rounds. Use those coins to upgrade your monsters and power them up for the tougher rounds. You’ll make it much farther into the next round by doing this.
Watch out for the monitor to come, because he’ll constantly have video offers that you can take in order to boost either your earnings, your attack power, or something else (e.g. paying coins for summoning orbs). Take these offers every time so that you can max out your earnings and the distance that you go into each round.
Don’t forget to use the coins to upgrade your spells too. You can unlock new spells as you get further into the game, and once you unlock them and add them to your inventory, you’ll be able to upgrade their effects by using coins. In the spell menu, you will also be able to unlock permanent boosts using orbs, such as doubling all monsters’ base attack or doubling the amount of coins and free gems you get from monsters.
